Before you start:
1. Read the instructions carefully.
2. Work over a sink or a surface covered in layers of newspaper (just in case).
3. Only re-fill a cartridge that has just run out ~ this kit will not work with old dried out
cartridges. Even 30 minutes can ruin a cartridge if it dries out!
4. Have your printer manual handy for instructions on inserting a “new” cartridge.
You can either follow these instructions or the BCI-11K below.
1. Peel back the sticky label to reveal the filling hole (see diagram). Enlarge the hole sufficiently
to accept the steel filling tube using the screw provided.
2. Assemble the syringe and filling tube.
3. Insert the syringe through the filling hole and push into the centre of the cartridge.
4. SLOWLY inject the ink. When ink overflows from filling hole or starts to leak from outlet hole,
cartridge is full. Stop injecting ink immediately.
5. Leave cartridge to stand overnight to prevent leakage.
6. Install cartridge and run a priming cycle as per printer instructions.
IMPORTANT – For
best results, cartridge should be refilled whilst some ink remains.
Empty cartridges should be refilled immediately.
This work is best done over the sink.
