Before you start:

1. Read the instructions carefully.

2. Work over a sink or a surface covered in layers of newspaper (just in case).

3. Only re-fill a cartridge that has just run out ~ this kit will not work with old dried out cartridges. Even 30 minutes can ruin a cartridge if it dries out!

4. Have your printer manual handy for instructions on inserting a “new” cartridge.

BJI-201, BJI-201C, BJI-201M, BJI-201Y
BLACK, CYAN, MAGENTA, YELLOW

1. Turn the cartridge upside down and using an old ballpoint pen, push in the ball bearing that seals the filling hole.
2. IMPORTANT – Some cartridges have a filling hole on the top surface under the label. In the newest cartridges there is no filling hole, if this is the case you will need to make one in the position shown right.
3. SLOWLY inject ink into the filling hole until the chamber is almost full. Unused ink may be returned to bottle.
4. Seal the hole with the plug provided. If the plug seal is not airtight then secure and seal plug with strong adhesive tape. THIS SEAL MUST BE AIRTIGHT, IF NOT CARTRIDGE WILL LEAK.
5. Clean the syringe with water and dry for future use, or use with different colour ink.

IMPORTANT:
For best results, cartridge should be refilled whilst some ink remains
Empty cartridges should be refilled immediately.
This work is best done over the sink.
